Godemiche Adam Review
By Carnal Queen.
Is this going to be a glowing review of the Godemiche Adam, or is it just going to be a review of something that glows? Stick around to find out!
Godemiche are a relatively new small company, that specialises in hand poured, unique silicone dildos. They seem to have done incredibly well in a short space of time, already supplying retailers nationwide, as well as overseas. It’s fantastic to see an artisanal UK company do so well, from humble beginnings. Long may it continue!
Adam was the first silicone cock sculpture to debut for Godemiche. It’s a dildo that sits somewhere in the middle of the realistic spectrum. Whilst it has a realistic head, very defined coronal ridge and urethral opening, the shaft of the dildo looks and feels less phallic. It’s available in a plethora of colours and mixes, so you’re almost guaranteed to find something that tickles your fancy.
Mine is made from matte, platinum silicone, which is unlike any of the other dildos in my collection. I’ve pondered for a while, trying to think of a way to describe it, and I can’t quite get it right. It almost feels rubbery, but not quite. The surface feels smooth to the touch, but if you look really closely, there’s almost a very subtle texture, maybe that’s what’s giving it the rubbery, who-knows-whattery feel to it. The best part though? It’s freaking GLOW IN THE DARK!
I can’t tell you how excited I was about receiving the Godemiche Adam, I’ve wanted a toy that glows for a long time, and I really liked the look of Adam, so it was win-win. I was concerned that the glowing aspect would disappoint in reality. I had loads of glow in the dark stuff as a kid, and they were all dead within minutes of lights out! I really wanted Adam to surprise me with its shining ability, and it really did. My dil-glow is awesome.
After a really thorough charge, Adam glows like a big green beacon. You can use it as a nightlight when you need to go to the toilet in the middle of the night, it’s that good. If it’s had artificial light charging it, or it’s been standing in a dull corner of a room, the green isn’t as bright, but it still glows impressively. I’ve had it in my Joyboxx for a couple of days, sealed away, and when I opened the box, it was still gently glowing away … giving plenty of light for under duvet play.
So the Godemiche Adam glows, but that’s no fun if it turned out to suck at being a dildo, is it? I’m happy to report that Adam doesn’t suck, it’s actually pretty cool at dildoing. It’s not going to be for everyone, because that coronal ridge is intense, but if you can cope with that, I think Adam could easily be your friend.
Adam is 6.5 inches long, with around 6 inches of insertable length. The silicone is pretty firm, although it does have a tiny bit of squish going on. I actually like the firmness, especially since it’s a straight dildo. It has a good sized flat base, making it safe for anal play, and also harness compatible.
I find I need a fair bit of lube to lavishly slather over this dildo. It can be draggy otherwise, and because that ridge is quite brutal, lube stinginess can result in your insides feeling like they’re trying to be dragged out of you. Not pleasant. Most days, I have no issues with that ridge, it feels pleasurable, and really helps put the right kind of pressure on my G-Spot, occasionally though, it’s a bit much for me, and I find myself reaching for something else to fuck myself with. Those occasions seem to be when CK has been going to town on my inner sweet spot. If I’m too swollen, after already having a G-Spot orgasm, it feels like it’s scraping at me, and goes through me like nails on a blackboard.
Adam might look kind of modest, but it’s actually quite a girthy toy at around 5 inches circumfrence. It feels fantastic to leave in place and orgasm around it from clitoral stimulation. When I thrust with it, it feels good, but again, I can’t always go crazy and thrust deeply. If I’m enjoying the ridge, the in-out feels nice and I can take all off it, repeatedly. On the days when my G-Spot says no to my light-headed friend, shallow thrusts, leaving the head firmly inside my vaginal canal, is all I can manage. Either way, it’s fucking amazing to look down in the dark and see an ethereal haze surrounding my lady bits. I feel like I should be casting a spell as I’m fucking myself …
As soon as I saw this magical dil-glow, I just knew that I had to get it on to one of my sex machines. I used a universal adaptor to be able to attach it to my uFUC Pro, which did work really well, but I know Godemiche have mastered and made a dildo that can accommodate a Vac-U-Lock adaptor in the base, meaning you’ll be able to fit this to any Vac-U-Lock comparable machine. It will need to be the 8 inch Adam, but I can’t see how more length is ever a bad thing, especially since you can control the thrust depth with a machine. It’s pretty cool to just sit and watch the machine thrust this glowing sculpture back and forth! It’s mesmerising.
I’ve been really impressed with the quality of Godemiche. I’ve had less than positive experiences with artisan sex toy makers in the past, so it’s brilliant to find one that produces good quality, functional toys. No bubbles, no tears, no flappy bits, no bullshit.
Pros
Glows in the dark!
Body safe and well made
Harness compatible & anal safe
Cons
Coronal ridge might be too much for some people
No suction cup
Godemiche made my day by sending me the Adam glow in the dark dildo. If you’d like to be able to have fun with a light up cock, you can grab one directly from them here. Alternatively, check out some of their other colour ways at Lovehoney. Affiliate links have been used in the post.
